Happy Spring to everyone!

We are wasting no time getting to the business of the new year, one of those is our very first Edmonson County feature magazine! We are partnering with Chamber member Gerald Printing in Glasgow to create the first edition of a free magazine to the public that features not only our Chamber members, but some of the local highlights of Edmonson County.

This is for Chamber members, only, and Gerald Print is working hard to contact all of you that have expressed interest in a feature ad. Please let us know if you haven't heard from Gerald Print and we will do our best to help.

We'd also like to welcome two new members to the Chamber Board, Mrs. Alicia Edwards and Mr. Corey Culbreth.

Alicia currently serves as the director of the Edmonson County Public Library and we are thrilled that she accepted the nomination to join our board. She is doing an amazing job with the library team and we are glad to now have her on our team.

Corey serves as an agent at Kentucky Farm Bureau but also has his hand in several aspects of the community, and he's doing his part to improve those things. He played a big role in the revamp of this year's Edmonson County Fair and we're thankful he is extending his community service even more by serving on our board.

It's also important to recognize two of our recently departed members. Mike Stoyonovich recently stepped down from his role and Scott Skaggs completed his term.

Scott served as a board member for the last 4 years and we greatly appreciate his service to the Chamber. He plans on staying busy with his businesses, Scott Skaggs Photography and The Hidden Homestead, which we are thrilled to use as the new home for the annual banquet and awards dinner. We are looking forward to being there again in 2024. Be sure to thank Scott for his service when you get the chance.

In addition, we certainly hated to see Mike leave us. He was been instrumental in not only the car show at the annual Big Brownsville Bash, but also by helping us improve the Chamber policies that can help all of us. Mike is a dedicated member of DAV Chapter 32 and plans to focus on that as well as other activities.

We'd also like to welcome our newest members to the Chamber: The Hive Hair and Company, Body and Mind Massage Studio, Little Dumplin's Boutique, Seth Alexander-Edward Jones Investments, and Shauna Gravil, Realtor. We also welcome St. John's Thrift Store back to the Chamber...we missed you!

We also recently joined the Small Business Development Center which will offer a ton of features and benefits for Edmonson Chamber members and we will tell you more about that in the very near future. We are working alongside the Bowling Green Area Chamber of Commerce with this venture and we are so pleased to offer these services to our members.

As always, follow us on Facebook, make sure you're part of our email list (we won't email you to death, I promise!), and call or text Kayla during business hours when you need us at 270-597-4715.

Thank you for supporting our Chamber,
-Darren Doyle, President
